Azure Cloud Database Architect

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Azure Lead MS-SQL DBA to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Microsoft SQL Server databases within the Azure cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the high availability, performance, and security of data for various applications.
- Provision, configure, and manage Azure SQL Databases, Managed Instances, and SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines.
- Design, implement, and monitor HA/DR strategies such as Always On Availability Groups, geo-replication, and failover groups.
- Plan and execute robust backup and restore operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years working on Azure MS-SQL database
- Lead administration experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
- Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI)
