Senior Mass Transfer Specialist

We are seeking an expert to assume a critical role within our organization. The Chemical Process Engineer will be responsible for designing and optimizing column internals to enhance mass transfer and separation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize column internals to improve the efficiency of mass transfer and separation processes.
- Conduct process simulations and calculations to develop effective solutions for distillation, absorption, and stripping applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturing compatibility of internals.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot operational issues in installed column internals to enhance performance.
- Develop technical reports, datasheets, and proposals for clients to support business growth.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in mass transfer technology and process engineering best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Mastery of chemical engineering principles and their application in process design.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in process design, mass transfer, or column internals manufacturing.
- Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or ChemCAD to facilitate efficient design and development.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat & mass transfer, and pressure drop calculations.
- Knowledge of distillation, absorption, extraction, and phase separation principles to inform design decisions.
