Murex Testing Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for Murex modules (Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Interfaces, etc.).
  • Perform functional, regression and integration testing using automation tools.
  • Work closely with business analysts, developers and support teams to understand requirements and validate system behavior.
  • Implement automation frameworks and ensure reusability, maintainability and scalability of scripts.
  • Defect tracking, logging and retesting in coordination with development teams.
  • Participate in test planning, test case design and test execution cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices.
  • Provide regular status updates and test progress reports.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of overall experience in software testing.
  • Hands-on experience in automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and workflows.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, Python or similar) for automation.
  • Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM or similar).
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for test data validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
