About the RoleThe Security Operations Manager will be responsible for providing technical and functional support to the L1 Team, conducting incident investigations, and collaborating with management to ensure adherence to security policies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Incident Response: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve security incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
- SOC/SIEM Operation: Monitor SIEM and logging systems for potential network threats and intrusions, and take corrective action as necessary.
- Cybersecurity Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with global threat intelligence and general security best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our security posture.
- Leadership: Lead a technical team, provide guidance and mentorship, and collaborate with management to achieve business objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and 5+ years of experience in information security.
- Strong knowledge of industry-recognized analysis frameworks, cloud computing fundamentals, EDR, DLP, and firewalls.
- Proven ability to work under stress in emergencies, handle multiple high-pressure situations simultaneously, and lead a technical team.
You will have:
- SOC/SIEM operation: Understanding of SOC/SIEM operation, including monitoring, reporting, and incident response.
- Cloud Security Platform: Familiarity with cloud security platforms, including design, implementation, and management.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
LocationThis role is based in [location], but may require occasional travel to other locations.
