Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Automation Specialist to design and develop automated scripts in Python for data validation and transformation logic. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop automated scripts in Python to create a golden model within SQL Server for use in test automation.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Integrate testing into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support seamless delivery and deployment.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in data to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Contribute to test automation strategies and reusable SQL test frameworks to drive efficiency and scalability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Test Automation with a focus on data validation and transformation logic.
  • Proficiency in Python, particularly with frameworks like YData-Synthetic, SDV (Synthetic Data Vault), Gretel-Synthetics, SynthCity, or DoppelGANger.
  • Experience working in CI/CD environments and integrating tests into automated pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • Mandatory experience with GE Plant Applications.
  • Nice to have experience with MS SQL Server.
