Senior Investment Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our investments team. This role will be based in Gurgaon and require working at least three days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports for clients, ensuring timely delivery and accurate data.
  • Analyze investment options, evaluating their potential and recommending optimal solutions.
  • Collaborate with custodians to gather client-specific data for reporting purposes.
  • Manage client communications, reviews, ramp-ups, and ongoing transitions, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • Lead a team of analysts, mentoring and guiding them in their roles, and overseeing their performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues on projects, taking ownership and ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Drive process improvements, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes to increase efficiency.
  • Maintain strong relationships with business owners and senior management, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
  • Promote compliance with internal and client policies, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, keeping them informed and engaged.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in finance, with a graduate degree in finance (B.com, BBA or equivalent) and progress towards CFA and CIPM preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a strong understanding of investment-related terminology in written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in analyzing investment portfolios or researching investment managers located outside India, with computations of returns for Defined Benefit and NFP clients.
  • Exposure to Global Capital Markets and various Asset Classes and Investment Strategies, with a good command of MS Office applications (MS-Excel, MS-Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities, and work under strict deadlines.
