Job Overview

Seeking an experienced and skilled Otorhinolaryngologist to join our esteemed medical team.

Responsibilities:
  • Clinical duties involve diagnosing and managing various ENT conditions, including otologic, rhinologic, laryngologic, and head and neck disorders.
  • Conduct outpatient consultations, follow-ups, audiological, and endoscopic evaluations, as well as perform a range of ENT surgeries such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, FESS (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery), septoplasty, and tracheostomy.
  • Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, radiologists, and oncologists in a multidisciplinary setting.
Teaching & Academic Responsibilities (If Applicable):
  • Lecture delivery, bedside teaching, and practical training for MBBS, MS/DNB (ENT) students.
  • Supervise residents in outpatient, inpatient, and OT settings.
  • Evaluate students through written and practical exams.
  • Guide thesis work and research projects for postgraduates.
Research & Publications:
  • Participate in clinical research projects related to ENT disorders or surgical innovation.
  • Present findings at ENT conferences or CME events.
  • Publish in indexed journals (national or international).
Administrative & Quality Assurance:
  • Maintain accurate medical records and surgical logs.
  • Participate in hospital infection control and safety committees.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and clinical protocols.
  • Support the planning of ENT camps, awareness programs, or outreach activities.
Qualifications:
  • Essential qualifications include MBBS + MS / DNB in ENT (Otorhinolaryngology) and valid registration with Medical Council (State/National).
  • Desirable qualifications include fellowship or subspecialty training in Otology, Rhinology, Laryngology, Head & Neck Oncology, experience in endoscopic and microscopic ENT surgeries, and prior teaching experience in medical institutions.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Proficiency in ENT examination, endoscopy, and microsurgical techniques.
  • Strong diagnostic and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills.
  • Teaching and mentoring capability (for academic positions).
  • Teamwork with multidisciplinary units (audiology, radiology, oncology, etc.).
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, surgical equipment, and operating room protocols.
