Job Overview

The Vice President, Lead oversees the server infrastructure design, implementation, and management. This strategic leader ensures high availability, performance, and security of server systems while aligning with business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the server infrastructure team to ensure high availability and performance of server systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies for server infrastructure design, deployment, and management.
  • Oversee planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of server hardware and software.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and standards in server operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align server infrastructure with business goals.
  • Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies to enhance server infrastructure capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 14-20 years of experience in server infrastructure and operations management.
  • Proficient in server technologies including Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and load balancing.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of storage solutions (SAN, NAS) and backup/recovery processes.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
