Job Summary

The Campus Lead Recruiter/University Lead will be responsible for developing and executing campus recruitment strategies to attract top engineering talent from leading institutions across India. This role will serve as the primary point of contact between the company and campus stakeholders, including career services offices, student organizations, and faculty members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive campus recruitment strategies to attract top engineering talent from target universities and colleges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with career services offices, placement coordinators, faculty members, and student organizations to facilitate effective campus engagement and recruitment efforts.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners to identify hiring needs, define internship and full-time hiring requirements, and develop tailored recruitment plans for each campus.
  • Lead the end-to-end campus recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience at every stage.
  • Work with the global university team to design and develop a globally consistent inclusive early talent program that is compelling and delivers a world-class experience to candidates and hiring teams.
  • Design and deliver a comprehensive Orientation Program, aligned with Global best practices, that equips interns and new college hires with Western Digital global culture and values.
  • Implement a globally aligned intern offboarding process, incorporating global best practices and local requirements.
  • Manage campus recruitment budgets, resources, and logistics effectively to maximize ROI and achieve recruitment goals within established timelines and budget constraints.
  • Analyse recruitment data, track key performance metrics and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of campus recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively as One team and take part in functional projects and initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities in campus recruitment and talent acquisition, and leverage insights to continuously enhance recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Coordinate and participate in campus events, including career fairs, tech talks, workshops, and networking sessions, to promote the company's brand, culture, and career opportunities to students.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with 6-10 years of experience in campus recruitment, talent acquisition, or related HR roles, preferably in the technology or semiconductor industry.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing campus recruitment strategies, engaging with campus stakeholders, attracting top talent from leading engineering and technical institutions.
  • Strong understanding of campus recruitment best practices, trends, and challenges in the Indian market, with a focus on engineering and technical talent.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders at all levels and ensuring positive Candidate experience.
  • Analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and drive results independently.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to target campuses across India and work flexible hours as needed to support campus recruitment activities.
