**Senior Software Testing Specialist Role**
Job OverviewThe Senior Software Testing Specialist is responsible for driving the quality and efficiency of software testing across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop comprehensive test strategies, incorporating diverse methodologies and approaches to ensure thorough coverage.
- Collaborate closely with development teams and stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and execute automated test scenarios.
- Develop and maintain robust test frameworks, integrating them seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in code reviews to guarantee high-quality production and test code, focusing on critical cases and edge scenarios.
- Continuously monitor test runs, application performance, and error rates, providing actionable insights to drive improvements.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing, encompassing manual and automated approaches, with a strong emphasis on developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools, including Jenkins, TeamCity, Kibana, and Grafana.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies, Bitbucket, Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and containerization principles.
- Expertise in UI testing, REST protocol, microservice architecture, and API testing using Rest Assured.
- Experience in mobile QA engineering requirements and proficiency in Espresso, XCUITest, Testrail, Bitrise, and Charles Proxy.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, Swift, and other languages, with expertise in their application under CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and lead teams towards quality-focused mindsets.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills to drive continuous improvement and best practices in software testing.
- Passionate about staying up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in software testing.
