Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify that language subtitles adhere to industry guidelines and meet specific client needs.
  • Ensure subtitles are checked against reference material related to the project and implement necessary instructions to guarantee a consistent and error-free final product.
  • Maintain an extremely high-quality output, with less than 1% error rate, thereby achieving an average quality yield of 99% throughout the year for all clients.
  • Update work trackers to accurately denote project status.
  • Guarantee 100% on-time delivery for all clients.
  • Coordinate with PC and update Project Notes to implement changes or fixes in languages, based on errors found.
  • Provide feedback to other users and departments when standard procedure is not followed, ensuring quality measures are implemented upstream.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, both internal and external.
  • Take ownership of one's work.
  • Fulfill department-specific schedules, guidelines, and demonstrate schedule adherence and attendance.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and coach newer recruits to bring them up to the expected quality standards set by the department.
  • Promote teamwork.
  • Suggest improvements to the platform or any subtitling workflows during work hours.
  • Actively participate in job and personal knowledge training programs.
  • Display eagerness and willingness to learn other aspects of the process, such as task assignments, process evaluation, etc., contributing to individual growth.

  • Exceptional audio sensitivity - ability to understand various English accents.
  • Good comprehension and communication skills.
  • Broad cultural knowledge and wide range of interests.
  • Team player, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and work under tight deadlines.
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint.
  • Good knowledge of computers and the internet.
  • Good typing speed and accuracy.
  • Broad cultural knowledge and wide range of interests.
  • Accountable and dependable.
  • Possesses analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Methodical approach, disciplined work ethic, and attention to detail.
