Job Title

The incumbent will oversee financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and treasury functions of the organization.

This role involves managing project accounting, ensuring adherence to statutory regulations, and supporting business growth through strong financial governance and cost control.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensuring timely MIS reporting, variance analysis, and financial projections
  • Monitoring project-wise profitability and cash flow management
  • Implementing cost control measures to optimize project margins

Budgeting and forecasting also play a crucial role in this position, involving:

  • Preparing annual budgets and forecasts in alignment with business objectives
  • Monitoring actual performance against budgets and providing actionable insights
  • Tracking project-specific budgets and supporting project managers with financial data

Additionally, the incumbent will supervise accounting for construction projects, ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies, and manage contract accounting, retention money, and escalation claims.

Strong knowledge of construction accounting standards, expertise in taxation and financial controls, leadership skills, and effective communication abilities are essential for this role.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (CMA) / MBA (Finance)
  • Experience: 12-18 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in the construction/infrastructure/real estate industry
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems-SAP preferred
