Commercial Real Estate Analyst Opportunity

A leading provider of data analytics and technology solutions is seeking a talented Real Estate Analyst to join their dynamic team in Hyderabad, India.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work with the team to gain experience in commercial real estate valuation, data analysis, and asset underwriting. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and organizing commercial real estate data for use in valuation consulting services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and manage periodic work files, ensuring accurate source data verification and review.
  • Prepare thorough analysis of asset and market level real estate data for asset underwriting and valuation processes.
  • Develop cash flow projections using industry-standard software such as Argus Enterprise or other suitable tools.
  • Regularly compare analysis files to analyze impacts and attribute variances.
  • Conduct research and collect data from internal databases and third-party sources on market rental rates, comparable building transactions, realty tax estimates, and general market knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in Commerce, Real Estate, Economics, or Finance.
  • Commercial and property valuation experience is an asset.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral presentation skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.
  • Basic skills in creating financial models, i.e., Excel, Argus, etc.
  • Ability to understand and interpret a lease for modeling and comprehend source data consisting of budgeting, actuals, rent roll, recoveries, etc.
