Job Title: Mainframe DevOps Engineer

As a Mainframe DevOps Engineer at Kyndryl Solutions Private Limited, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our mission-critical technology systems. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality products and services to our clients, driving business growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional E T/Production support, with a strong focus on developing new functionality and improving existing processes.
  • Solve incidents within tight timeframes and under pressure, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Perform BAU duties in shifts, monitoring incident queues and team mailboxes, and providing 24/7 stand-by support.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to Mainframe Applications and JCL programming.
  • Implement new features and deployments in PR environments, both during and outside regular working hours.
  • Monitor the entire application landscape, identifying potential issues and taking proactive measures to prevent them.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-7 years of experience in application support, with a strong background in Mainframe technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as TWS, COBOL, JCL, and SQL for DB2.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems and requirements.
  • Familiarity with IMS-DB, IMS-calls, and IMS queries.
  • Strong understanding of testing, debugging, and troubleshooting methodologies.
