Job Title: Senior Data Architect

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing large-scale data systems.

The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data System Design: Develop and maintain scalable and secure data pipelines and infrastructure on GCP.
  • ETL Processes: Design and implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using tools like Python and PySpark.
  • Data Governance: Implement data governance policies, security best practices, and access control within GCP.
  • Data Quality: Ensure data quality through testing, validation, and monitoring of data pipelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Java.
  • Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, and other relevant GCP services.
  • Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is highly desirable.
  • Experience with data warehousing and data modeling techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
