Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished CAM Programmer to spearhead innovation in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CAM Development: Conceptualize and generate efficient CAM programs using advanced software, defining cutting tools and strategies for 3D models (50% of time).
  • Output Validation: Run tool path simulations, create NC code, and perform thorough virtual simulations (15%).
  • Input Processing: Validate 3D models against accurate 2D drawings and assemble part geometry in fixtures (10%).
  • Production Support: Collaborate with process engineers to implement CAM programs on CNC machines (10%).
  • Quality Assurance: Analyze QC reports, implement corrective actions, and iterate as needed (10%).
  • Documentation Creation: Develop comprehensive setup sheets and work instructions for CNC operators (5%).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering (B.E. preferred).
  • Experience: 5 years (B.E.) or 8 years (Diploma) in NX CAM.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of GD&T, CNC machines, NX CAD, cutting tools, and FANUC Controller.
