IT Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Device management, user identity, and endpoint protection for macOS and Windows environments.
• Configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Intune device management and policy settings.
• Compliance with security policies across the enterprise using JAMF, SCCM, MECM, and Azure.
• Patching vulnerabilities quickly and maintaining compliance levels.
• Development and implementation of best practices for vulnerability, security, and Evergreen upgrade processes.
• Troubleshooting complex issues related to Windows group policy, MAC policy, and security patches.
• Troubleshooting hardware-related issues, drivers, and BIOS updates on laptops and desktops.
• Analysis of log files and windows events to identify incidents and performance issues.
• Incident management and escalation to relevant teams and 3rd-party vendors.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support technology across the Collaboration stack.
• Delivery of service improvements through smarter working, better tools, and better use of existing product sets.
• Subject matter expertise in macOS, Windows 10/11, and Evergreen across all EUC platforms (Laptop, PC, VDI).
• Adherence to security policy standards and operational requirements.
• Maintenance of technical documentation and issue tracking using Confluence and Jira.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• JAMF Administration on JAMF Pro and JAMF Cloud.
• Microsoft Intune device management and policy configuration.
• Microsoft Autopilot maintenance and engineering.
• Enterprise-level patching and vulnerability management.
• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (System Centre Configuration Manager).
• Build task sequence knowledge in SCCM.
• Group Policy and Active Directory troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced macOS and Windows 10/11 troubleshooting skills.
• Browse support and Microsoft Edge enterprise mode configuration.
• Troubleshooting and optimization skills in an Enterprise environment.
• Advanced understanding of Patch Management and Policy creation/implementation.
• Experience working in a compliance-driven environment.
• Office 365.
• Ability to deliver custom solutions to address non-standard requirements or provide additional value.
• Strong understanding/experience of Remote access technologies and client troubleshooting – Pulse VPN, NetScaler, Zscaler Cloud Proxy.
• Active Directory and Group Policy, Azure AD.
• PKI infrastructure – Certificate Management and NDES.
