Emerson ETS Systems Manager

As a seasoned expert in RTU/SCADA/Flow, we are seeking an experienced Emerson ETS Systems Manager to join our team. This role will involve working independently and collaboratively with our ETS Systems Team to design, engineer, and deliver projects for various products such as CW RTU, OE/OSI Monarch SCADA, and Flow products.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-12 years' experience in engineering RTU/SCADA/Flow products and systems. They should be well-versed in various Oil & Gas process domain applications, including detailed hands-on experience with RTU/SCADA/Flow products, design, and application programming. Additionally, they should have expertise in Modbus communication and other communication topologies like DNP3, as well as exposure to radio and wireless communication between Flow Computer, RTUs, and Host Systems like SCADA.
Responsibilities:
* Design and documentation of RTU/SCADA/Flow projects
* Maintain the skill level of the whole engineering team
* Contribute to the overall quality of the organization in the engineering space
* Ensure high performance on a variety of platforms
* Create standard protocols and documentation for repeat use
* Participate in Pre-FAT, FAT, SAT, etc.
* Review deliverables for quality and accuracy with peers and lead
* Monitor compliance to processes/targets
* Maintain QMS system for defects, rework, and other indicators
* Maintain cost, quality, and schedule as per contractual terms
* Lead a team of resources for different world areas
* Ensure projects get delivered within cost, quality, and schedule
* Maintain a high degree of ethics in the team
* Think innovatively to improve productivity and delivery schedule
* Healthy communication among team members
* Conflict resolution without affecting any resource in the team
* Balancing among all stakeholders
* Operations support to Inside sales team
* Working as Delivery Manager with FSO
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 10-12 years' experience in engineering RTU/SCADA/Flow products and systems
* Experience with various Oil & Gas process domain applications
* Detailed hands-on experience with RTU/SCADA/Flow products, design, and application programming
* Good hands-on Modbus communication and other communication topologies like DNP3
* Exposure to radio and wireless communication between Flow Computer, RTUs, and Host Systems like SCADA
* Familiarity with Emerson Flow Computers and RTUs like S600+, FB 107, ROC, CW RTUs, and Presets like DL6000 and DL8000
* Field instrumentation knowledge for flow meters, pressure and temperature transmitters, control valves, etc.
* Familiarity of P&ID, Instrument index, utility and power distribution schemes, power consumption document, loop diagrams, etc.
* Evaluation of Control Panel drawings, cable block diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, SLDs, system architecture drawings, Loop diagrams, Instrument hook up diagram, FAT/SAT procedures, O&M manual and as-built documentation
* Preparation of Project Cycle Documents like Functional Design Documents, Control Narratives, Test Procedures, etc.
* FAT and SAT experience of S600+ Flow Computer, CW RTU, and Presets Controllers
* Customer/vendor/factory liaison to fulfill documentation and inspection requirements
* Coordinate tests/inspections of all bought out/fabricated items
* Computer skills in Windows, Outlook, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel
* New app development using latest technology to improve standardization and productivity
* Awareness of NPD cycle and product management
* Cyber security
Preferred Qualifications and Competencies:
* Degree in Instrumentation and Control/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
* Basic understanding of networking protocols and concepts
* Capable of describing and documenting overall project strategy
* Contribute to and help maintain the engineering team
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Innovative mindset
