Cloud Security Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Consultant to lead and implement security projects focused on cloud infrastructure and security strategies within AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the deployment of cloud infrastructure, security solutions, and cloud computing strategies.
  • Ensure seamless project execution and implementation of security best practices across client AWS environments.
  • Collaborate with clients to evaluate their current cloud environments and propose tailored technical solutions that enhance security.
  • Assist clients in verifying the successful deployment of security uplifts, focusing on AWS environments integrated with the Wiz CSPM tool.
  • Provide prioritization recommendations on CSPM findings and design technical solutions to address AWS-specific security challenges.
  • Focus on identity management, role-based access control (RBAC), and other entitlement discrepancies that should be assessed by CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management) or CIEM (Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management) tools.
  • Develop and modify auto-remediation scripts using Python to ensure continuous security compliance.
  • Implement automated remediations within AWS Lambda functions to address and correct insecure configurations in AWS environments.
  • Utilize experience with regular expressions (RegEx), SQL, or similar languages to analyze and secure data effectively.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Translate security policies and procedures into business impacts, ensuring clients understand the importance and implications of security measures.
  • Work with clients to identify, suggest technical solutions, and validate the implementation of security improvements, particularly around AWS Identity Management Services.
Requirements:
  • 3-8 years of experience in cloud security, identity management, and automated remediation.
  • Strong technical expertise in AWS, cloud security, identity management, and automated remediation.
  • Experience with regular expressions (RegEx), SQL, or similar languages.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
