We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to spearhead the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions across our global infrastructure, with a primary focus on Azure.

Job Description
  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and robust cloud architectures primarily for built environment with timeseries data, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
  • Lead the migration of existing legacy cloud infrastructures to modern cloud-based platforms, fostering collaboration and innovation in our work environment.
  • Develop and deploy microservices architectures, actively participating in coding and development when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of deployment from architecture design through integration and maintenance.
  • Support performance testing of critical infrastructure components, both existing and planned revamp.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 10-15 years of overall experience in software engineering.
  • 5 years in architect role for a cloud-based software product/platform with a proven track record of deploying cloud solutions in a large-scale environment supporting billions of data points per day.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure is essential, AWS knowledge is a significant plus.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, advanced verbal and written communication skills, comfort working directly with both technical and non-technical audiences, good judgment, time management, decision-making skills, strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and thrive in a cross-functional environment.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, and certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional are highly desirable.
