Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join our Applications Team at Silicon Labs. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers and ensuring the success of our IoT products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with our engineering teams to debug customer-reported issues and provide technical support for our IoT products.
  • Work with customers to understand their use cases and provide tailored support to ensure their success with our products.
  • Investigate and understand complex new features by reading documentation, discussing with development teams, and designing sample applications.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of and experience working with analog and digital MCU peripherals.
  • Working knowledge of bootloaders and development experience with bare-metal embedded C.
  • Understanding of and experience with communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, etc.
  • Excellent microcontroller debugging skills, including experience with debugging tools like oscilloscopes, power analyzers, digital logic analyzers, and digital multimeters.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Zephyr and FreeRTOS.
  • Knowledge of salesforce, task management, and bug-tracking systems such as Jira.
  • Ability to review schematics and layout designs.
  • Prior experience with customer support and technical writing.
