Job Title: Director of Strategic Initiatives

Overview

A leader in responsible AI governance and enterprise leadership is required to manage ambitious flagship initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Management
  • Prioritize initiatives based on impact, return on investment, and strategic value.
  • Develop and maintain a 36-month phased roadmap.
  • Monitor progress, risks, and ensure deliverables are on track.
  • Execution & Delivery
  • Lead cross-functional teams and vendors to execute initiatives.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure initiatives launch on schedule.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with global policymakers, enterprise executives, event organizers, and sponsors.
  • Presents progress updates to leadership, sponsors, and partners.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors, agencies, and external collaborators.
  • Sponsorship & Revenue Enablement
  • Support sponsorship strategy by aligning initiatives with corporate and NGO partner goals.
  • Ensure deliverables for sponsors are met with excellence.
  • Team Leadership
  • Oversee initiative managers, consultants, and interns.
  • Establish clear goals, dashboards, and reporting systems.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in program management, strategic initiatives, or operations, preferably in AI, technology policy, or global nonprofits.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar programs and complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of AI, governance, and emerging technologies.
  • Exceptional project management skills with ability to juggle multiple initiatives.
  • Experience working with corporate sponsors, government partners, or international organizations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and take ownership of outcomes.
