Key Account Manager Job Description

Vikram Tea Processor Private Limited is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to spearhead our business expansion in Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and other states.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to increase market share through brand awareness and advertisements. They will also map opportunity markets, identify relevant tea category products, and drive short-term and long-term market penetration strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Market Development:
    • Develop and execute business planning to MT channels.
    • Implement plans for increasing market share through brand awareness and advertisements.
    • Map opportunity markets and identify relevant tea category products through data mining.
  • Sales & Channel Management:
    • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines to achieve sales targets and ensure consistent growth in the MT segment.
    • Develop and manage relationships with Modern Trade clients, vendors, and business partners.
    • Negotiate at regional level contracts with new vendors and clients as well as terminate contracts with existing clients or vendors when necessary.
  • Relationship & Stakeholder Management:
    • Establish and manage relationships with agencies and customers to ensure smooth operations.
    • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure that all domestic business operations run smoothly.
  • Marketing & Brand Development:
    • Implement brand awareness campaigns and product launches in MT channels.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to drive advertising and promotional activities.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare financial reports detailing sales performance, ROI, and profit margins.
    • Analyze market trends and customer data to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Modern Trade Sales, preferably in the Tea or Food segments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business planning and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Modern Trade industry and excellent leadership skills.
