Backend Developer Position

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to join our team for project-based engagements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of backend frameworks such as Django, Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core, or Laravel, and be proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs.
  • Write clean, well-structured, and well-documented code.
  • Implement RESTful / GraphQL APIs and integrate with frontend & third-party services.
  • Work with databases (SQL & NoSQL) for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Implement real-time features (e.g., WebSockets, SignalR, or Django Channels).
  • Ensure application security, authentication, and authorization.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment pipelines.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in at least one core backend framework: Django, Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core, or Laravel.
  • Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices.
  • Experience with databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
  • Familiarity with real-time communication (Sockets, SignalR, gRPC, etc.).
  • Hands-on with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Additional Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with event-driven architectures & message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Knowledge of system scaling, load balancing, caching strategies.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, such as Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), Containerization & Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm), Monitoring & Logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack), and Understanding of serverless computing & cloud-native design.
