Job Title: Ignition SCADA Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Ignition SCADA engineer to join our team. As an integral member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions.

Key responsibilities include designing, configuring, and deploying Ignition SCADA and MES applications in manufacturing operations. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure seamless integration of OT systems (PLC, SCADA, MES) with enterprise IT systems (ERP databases, cloud).

As an Ignition SCADA engineer, you will develop and maintain secure, efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols. You will also manage industrial databases, SQL historian, and timeseries databases for high availability and performance.

What skills do we need from you?

  • Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA Inductive Automation, including scripting module configuration and project deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent).
  • Experience with OT/IT integration technologies.
  • Proficiency in REST APIs for system interconnectivity.
  • Familiarity with IIoT messaging and lightweight communication protocols like MQTT.
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work on large-scale digital transformation Industry 4.0 projects.

Requirements:

  • Ignition Gold Certified Specialist or relevant industrial IT/OT certifications.
