Job Profile

The role involves developing a comprehensive understanding of the Indian vertical transportation market. Key responsibilities include familiarizing with customer, competitor, authority, and regulation VT landscapes in India.

  • Determine the VT strategy for India by providing market input and recommendations.
Business Development and Sales

Develop a business development strategy to implement growth targets provided by the BU LCC. The primary objectives are:

  1. Promote T V as a leading VT authority in India.
  2. Create sales leads through networking, proactive industry observation, and research.
  3. Establish effective customer relationships by understanding customers' structures, needs, and constraints.
  4. Scale the business through continuous extension of the customer base and customer retention.

Key performance indicators (KPIs) will be agreed upon with the BU LCC and senior management. KPIs may include:

  • Sales revenue growth.
  • New customer acquisition rate.
  • Customer satisfaction ratings.
Operations and Resources

Ensure smooth operations in accordance with T S's QMS and to the full satisfaction of customers. This includes P&L responsibility for T S's VT activities in India and preparing regular progress reports. Resources planning and management, as well as recruitment, development, and leadership of further VT experts, are also key responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with lift technology and industry.
  • Basic knowledge of MS office software.
