Job Title: Unity Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Unity Developer to join our team at Talpro. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AR/VR/XR applications using Unity 3D and C#.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance, immersive experiences across various platforms and devices.
  • Develop applications for multiple AR/VR platforms and devices, including HTC Vive, HoloLens, Android and iOS mobile devices, Oculus Rift, and Oculus Quest.
  • Utilize a variety of AR/VR and tracking SDKs such as ARKit, ARCore, SteamVR, Vuforia, and Oculus SDK.
  • Apply strong knowledge of math and linear algebra to solve complex 3D problems using vector calculations.
  • Implement accurate and efficient algorithms to enhance application performance and visual quality.
  • Analyze and translate requirements into comprehensive system designs.
  • Define technical architecture and system design to meet project goals and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Recreate and implement UI design elements according to prototypes shared by the lead designer.
  • Ensure the UI is intuitive, functional, and aligns with the overall project vision.
  • Work hands-on with 3D modeling tools such as Blender, Autodesk Maya, or Autodesk 3DS Max.
  • Prepare AR/VR-ready assets and ensure they are optimized for performance and visual fidelity.
  • Develop and integrate custom shaders to enhance visual effects and performance in AR/VR applications.
  • Ensure shaders are optimized and compatible across different devices and platforms.
  • Collaborate effectively within an Agile development environment.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in AR/VR/XR development with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Deep knowledge of Unity 3D, OOP principles, and C# programming.
  • Proficiency in developing applications using AR/VR SDKs and tracking technologies.
  • Strong understanding of math and linear algebra, with the ability to solve complex 3D problems using vector calculations.
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and translate requirements into comprehensive system designs.
  • Experience in defining technical architecture and system design.
  • Experience in recreating UI design elements as per prototypes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver functional and aesthetically pleasing UI.
  • Hands-on experience with Blender, Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3DS Max, or other popular 3D modeling tools.
  • Ability to prepare AR/VR-ready assets and optimize them for performance.
  • Experience in shader programming and integrating shaders into Unity applications.
  • Ability to create and optimize custom shaders for various platforms.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment with a mindset focused on continuous improvement and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with additional AR/VR platforms and SDKs.
  • Experience with XR development frameworks and technologies.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for AR/VR applications.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
