Job Title:

We are seeking a seasoned data professional to spearhead our data engineering initiatives.

As a senior data engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Pyspark. You will also orchestrate workflows using Airflow and manage data infrastructure on AWS and Databricks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Pyspark
  • Orchestrate workflows using Airflow and manage data infrastructure on AWS and Databricks
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across all data processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Provide support for existing data systems and troubleshoot issues effectively

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Proven experience in leading and managing data engineering teams
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Pyspark, Airflow, AWS, Databricks, and Data Warehousing
  • Experience working in Agile methodologies
  • Prior experience in support and maintenance projects

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Kafka, Git Hub, Jenkins
  • Exposure to retail domain
  • Familiarity with test suite configuration and CI/CD pipelines
