About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technical leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the architecture and design of our systems, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team on system architecture and design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements.
  • Design and implement scalable and secure system architectures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
Requirements
  • 12-18 years of professional software design and development experience with hands-on back-end implementation experience.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages, including Java and NodeJS, with backend and frontend frameworks.
  • Strong programming skills in designing and implementing multi-tier applications.
  • RESTful API and micro-service design and development experience.
  • Proficiency in working in a Linux environment.
  • Strong software development fundamentals, architecture styles, and patterns, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding and experience with web applications, cyber security, and open-source technologies.
  • Exposure to vulnerability and penetration testing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with creating architectural diagrams and design documentation using UML.
  • Experience overseeing product development with multiple projects ongoing simultaneously.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Awareness of tools and techniques to achieve network security, data protection, and business continuity.
  • A postgraduate or bachelor's degree in computer science or software systems.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Professional programs certification in Java and others.
  • Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP environment.
  • Familiarity with YAML/Swagger.
  • A good sense of user experience.
