We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our esteemed research team. As a Senior Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for researching and developing innovative algorithms to solve complex real-world problems.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development
  • You will have hands-on coding experience in Python with excellent programming skills and rapid prototyping abilities.
  • You will produce well-organized, optimized, high-quality source code and frameworks for the team to ramp up on.
  • You will perform Code, Design & Architecture reviews.
  • You will translate requirements into architecture using state-of-the-art technologies and open-source frameworks.
  • You will design and incorporate quality aspects of the architecture/project, including Re/Usability, Maintainability, Scalability, Reliability, Extensibility, Security, Portability, etc.
  • You will develop and implement V&V Strategy for functional & non-functional requirements.
  • You will evaluate, define, and evolve/improve software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
  • You will execute independently at the team level all aspects of the Software Engineering Process (requirements, specification, architecture, design, implementation, etc.).
  • You will debug code independently in large and complex source bases.
  • Technology & Architecture
  • You will continuously improve architecture & design methodologies in the project.
  • You will learn new/trending/emerging languages/technologies/open-source frameworks & architectures quickly and apply them to the project.
  • You will ensure a high level of software quality at the project level by adapting lean yet effective state-of-the-art practices.
  • You will contribute to the architecture for more than one domain.
  • You will inspire the team by becoming a role model via exhibiting a vigorous crave for excellence.
  • Mentoring and Technical Leadership
  • You will enable the team to make high-level design/architecture choices and implement them.
  • You will lead the team technically.
  • You will contribute to technical and business proposals.
  • You will coordinate with engineering managers/customers/stakeholders.
  • You will support recruitment by evaluating architect/designing/coding skills.
  • You will mentor team members, give them directions, empower them with right tools/methodologies, and make a cohesive work environment through Lead by Example.
  • You will mentor new/small project teams to ramp-up in addition to current responsibilities.
  • You will mentor and coach sizeable associates in the group to scale to trending technologies, state-of-the-art technologies, and methodologies.
  • You will create a platform/process for distributed cross-location teams to work together smoothly with highest coordination.

Qualifications

Educational qualification: BE/MS/M.Tech (Electronics, Computer Science or related)

Experience: 8 - 10 years of work experience.

Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative algorithms for image and video analysis.

Experience working in a research environment.

Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

Experience with image processing libraries such as OpenCV.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
