About this role:

This role involves leading enterprise-wide security operations, driving system hardening, and architecting AWS security policies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, AWS Security Specialty, and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.

Job Description

  • Lead security operations across systems, infrastructure, and cloud platforms.
  • Drive system hardening and secure configuration across Linux/Windows environments.
  • Architect and enforce AWS security policies (IAM, SCP, GuardDuty, logging).
  • Present actionable risk insights and metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Embed security practices into the software development and testing lifecycle.
  • Manage rapid compliance and audit preparation (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
  • Ensure fast turnaround times on InfoSec requests and escalations.
  • Guide user access control, data governance, and identity lifecycle management.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years in security leadership and system administration.
  • Deep AWS/cloud security proficiency (IAM, KMS, Terraform, VPC).
  • Proven communicator with executive presence and reporting fluency.
  • Experience in SDLC, code scanning, and secure testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on coordination of certifications and GRC audits under short timelines.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Certifications (preferred): CISSP, CISM, CISA, AWS Security Specialty, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
