Job Title: Technical Author

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Author to join our team. As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical content, including illustrated parts catalogs and other documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date with Airbus standards, tools, and processes.
  • Develop content to meet change requests after impact analysis.
  • Utilize SAP PCS for authoring IPC/configuration management/criteria analysis.
  • Work independently on project details, supplier drawings, and technical specifications for customers.
  • Conduct technical analysis of modifications/configuration management.
  • Analyze information and structure it efficiently.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Create/revise illustrated parts catalogs as per Ispec2200 standards.
  • Prepare mockups for illustrators.
  • Adhere to quality procedures as defined in the quality system.
  • Regularly report to project leaders on project deviations, progress, and internal/external problems.
  • Coordinate proactively with customers.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and present it in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
