Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Structural Engineer to lead project design and execution in the Life Science & Tech sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in structural analysis and design, with a strong ability to manage projects, mentor teams, and ensure deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Structural Design Leadership: Lead structural design from conceptual phase through completion, including superstructure and foundation analysis, steel, and concrete building design.
  • Technical Expertise: Review geotechnical reports, vendor drawings, and fabrication drawings. Advise on structural requirements to ensure compliance with relevant safety codes. Provide senior-level input as a technical advisor.
  • Project Management: Manage scope, schedule, budget, and key performance indicators. Mentor less experienced engineers, support manpower planning, and conduct performance appraisals for career progression.
  • Quality & Safety: Ensure adherence to QA/QC processes and all company safety policies.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with other disciplines to develop clash-free system designs. Ensure effective communication with engineering disciplines.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required, with a Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 8-12 years of working experience, with EPC project experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and accuracy. Strong team player with effective people management skills.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel to the United States for inter-departmental initiatives.
