Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Motion Graphics Animation Specialist to join our team. As a key contributor to our animation department, you will be responsible for bringing video ads to life through movement, animation, typography, and effects.

In this role, you will work closely with experienced motion artists, video editors, and strategists to contribute to dynamic visual storytelling for global gaming titles. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to break into the intersection of gaming, animation, and performance marketing.

You will animate 2D elements (typography, overlays, icons, HUDs) for video ads based on creative briefs. Apply motion to static designs (provided by graphic designers) to create engaging ad sequences that capture viewers' attention. Support the creation of effects like screen shakes, zoom-ins, object trails, dissolves, and lighting flares that elevate gameplay.

You will learn how storytelling, psychology, and motion design intersect in gaming performance marketing. Collaborate closely with video editors and creative strategists to deliver polished animations under guidance. Experiment with AI tools like Runway ML, Pika, and Kaiber to boost creative workflows. Work on multiple creative iterations using rapid-feedback cycles and real-time reviews.

Responsibilities:
  • Animate 2D elements (typography, overlays, icons, HUDs) for video ads based on creative briefs.
  • Apply motion to static designs (provided by graphic designers) to create engaging ad sequences.
  • Support the creation of effects like screen shakes, zoom-ins, object trails, dissolves, and lighting flares that enhance gameplay.
  • Collaborate closely with video editors and creative strategists to deliver polished animations under guidance.
  • Experiment with AI tools to optimize creative workflows.
  • Work on multiple creative iterations using feedback cycles and real-time reviews.
Requirements:
  • Fundamental understanding of animation principles, visual rhythm, and storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects (must have).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (bonus if any).
  • A portfolio showcasing animation work – student, personal, or freelance projects (gaming or entertainment-related is a plus).
  • Willingness to learn from feedback and adapt to an iterative, fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong sense of initiative, organization, and accountability when handling creative tasks remotely.
Bonus Skills:
  • Exposure to 3D software (Blender, Cinema 4D)
  • Experience with kinetic typography or VFX animation
  • Familiarity with motion styles in the mobile gaming ad space
