Shopify Developer Role

  • A strong understanding of customising Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript is required for this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to optimise site performance, speed, and user experience through strong coding skills.
  • Developing automated workflows using tools like Zapier, Make.com, or n8n is also a key responsibility of this role.
  • Collaboration with marketing and analytics teams is necessary to optimise conversion tracking.
  • Implementing SEO best practices including structured data, page speed improvements, and clean URL structures is crucial for this position.
  • Evaluating, installing, and maintaining third-party apps and Shopify Plus features as needed is also a requirement.
  • Troubleshooting integration and functionality issues is a daily task for this role.
  • Partnering with marketing, operations, and product teams to align store functionality with business objectives is vital.
  • Ownership of the Shopify tech stack and support long-term eCommerce growth initiatives is expected.
Requirements
  • Strong coding skills (Liquid, HTML/CSS, JavaScript) for theme customisation and performance optimisation.
  • Experience with automation tools like Zapier, Make.com, or n8n — able to connect systems and streamline workflows.
