Senior Clinical Data Validation Specialist

Job Summary:

Clinical data validation specialists play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of clinical study data. As a senior clinical data validation specialist, you will be responsible for performing advanced data validation tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex data validation tasks, including edit checks, database builds, and metadata listings.
  • Collaborate with clinical data scientists and study data managers to understand study scope and expectations.
  • Develop and execute advanced UAT scripts to validate clinical study setup configurations and CDMS platforms.
  • Conduct QC on metadata listings and peer review of programming checks.
  • Support automation tool validation and standardization of test scripts.
  • Ensure consistent use of clinical data standards across programs and repositories.
  • Work with clinical data management systems (e.g., Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm) to validate database builds and data flows.
  • Document and share study-related testing deliverables and lessons learned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, computer science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in clinical data testing and validation.
  • Strong experience with clinical study setup and CDMS platforms, as well as CTMS.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
