Import Executive Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Import Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the importation of goods and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in order.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the importation process from start to finish, including coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
  • Ensure that all necessary documents, such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin, are accurate and complete.
  • Oversee the receipt and inspection of imported goods to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as logistics and finance, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective importation processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in import management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of import regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
