As a US Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of complex federal and state tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare intricate tax returns ensuring compliance with IRS regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and supervise tax staff providing guidance and performance feedback.
  • Tax Planning Strategies: Develop strategic plans for clients in various industries.
  • Research and Solutions: Analyze complex tax issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Compliance and Communication: Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in taxation and significant experience in managing teams. A certification as a CPA or EA is required, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.

Additionally, proficiency in US tax software such as CCH Axcess or ProSystem fx is necessary. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are also crucial for success in this role.
