We are seeking a skilled Medical Records Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and possess strong administrative writing skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing physician dictation and transcribing clinical notes into the patient's chart. You will also prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for physicians, ensuring compliance with hospital and medical facility policies.

Additional responsibilities include updating patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the patient's chart. You will also prepare and send all documentation to physicians for review and approval via authentication of detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures.

A key aspect of this role is assigning codes to diagnoses and procedures, using ICD (International Classification of Diseases) and CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes. You will ensure that codes are accurate and sequenced correctly in accordance with government and insurance regulations.

To excel in this position, you should possess 3-5 years of experience as a Live Medical Scriber. You should also have strong reporting and organizational skills, as well as excellent Microsoft Office skills.
