Job Title: AI Solutions Developer

This strategic role will drive the implementation and governance of artificial intelligence technologies, ensuring precision, security, and compliance.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data privacy controls and compliance requirements, as well as experience in configuring and managing AI tool environments securely and effectively.

A key aspect of this position is delivering comprehensive audit logs, compliance reporting, and monitoring for OpenAI usage to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and manage data privacy controls to prevent sensitive data from being used in AI model training and enforce zero-retention policies.
  • Implement robust guardrails and moderation tools, including fine-tuned safety layers, to enhance the security and reliability of AI applications.
  • Track and analyze model performance and usage metrics, producing regular reports for leadership to inform strategic decisions.
  • Optimize prompt engineering and evaluate cost/performance trade-offs to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to API calls, latency, and integration failures, ensuring seamless operation of AI tools.
  • Maintain a detailed internal admin guide with setup/configuration steps, governance rules, and best practices for AI tool management.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge bases and wikis for developers and end users to facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Deliver training sessions for IT staff to expand their expertise in managing OpenAI tools and ensure comprehensive admin coverage.
  • Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for OpenAI-related incidents, providing expert-level support and resolution.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in AI applications engineering or a related role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AI tools, particularly Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy controls and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in configuring and managing AI tool environments securely and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience delivering training and creating documentation.
