Job Summary

This is a highly skilled position requiring expertise in designing, developing and deploying machine learning models. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Python, data preparation, model training, deployment and maintenance.

Key Qualifications
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python with strong understanding of its ecosystem for data science and machine learning (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
  • Deep understanding and practical experience with at least one major deep learning framework (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and classical machine learning algorithms.
  • Experience with libraries for Natural Language Processing (NLP) and computer vision is preferred.
Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop scalable machine learning systems and models, research and implement appropriate machine learning algorithms and tools.
  2. Prepare datasets for training and testing, train and retrain models as needed.
  3. Analyse and preprocess data for model training, build and maintain data pipelines for efficient data flow.
  4. Deploy models to production environments, monitor model performance and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers and other stakeholders, communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly.
  6. Build and maintain the infrastructure required for machine learning model deployment, stay up-to-date with the latest machine learning tools and technologies.
  7. Identify and solve technical challenges related to machine learning model development and deployment, analyse model errors and design strategies to overcome them.
  8. Ensure that AI/ML systems are developed and deployed responsibly and ethically.
