Fullstack Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team at GlobalLogic. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical solutions for complex problems using logical thinking and reasoning
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code in Node.js for back-end services
  • Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and code review
  • Document code standards and practice them
  • Collaborate with development project managers, business analysts, and customers to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery
  • Prepare technical specification documents for developed features

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Node.js, TypeScript, and NoSQL/SQL databases
  • Sound experience in automated unit testing
  • Some experience in a client-side framework (React or Angular is a must)
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent debugging skills
  • Ability to debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components
  • Knowledge about the Software Development Life Cycle Model, development best practices, and standards, source control, code review, build, and deployment, continuous integration
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Experience in onsite/offshore models and Agile methodology
