Cleartax is seeking a highly motivated Compliance Governance Manager to join their team. The estimated salary for this role is $125,000 per year.

    About the Position

As a Compliance Governance Manager at Cleartax, you will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring compliance programs and reporting on compliance matters to the executive leadership team. You will also maintain a record of compliance activities and ensure timely reporting of compliance metrics and incidents.

    Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and monitor compliance programs and report on compliance matters to the executive leadership team;
  • Maintain a record of compliance activities and ensure timely reporting of compliance metrics and incidents;
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure alignment and address any issues proactively;
  • Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures to reflect changing laws and regulations;
  • Implement policies across departments to ensure adherence and mitigate compliance risks.

    Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred;
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, with at least 3-4 years in a leadership role;
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially in [specific industry, e.g., banking, fintech, healthcare];
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all levels of the organization.
