Job Description

The primary function of this role is to coordinate the design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems engineering for SCADA systems. This includes writing specifications, design documents, evaluations, and performance assessments associated with control and equipment protection, construction, operation, and maintenance of the company's SCADA system used for PV plants.

This position ensures the deployment of SCADAs supplied by qualified vendors per projects in India and overseas from the engineering to handover post-commissioning phases. The role also involves carrying out a regulatory and technology watch to anticipate and integrate evolutions and potential improvements in SCADA deployment during the execution phase.

  • Write specification documents (requisition, compile set of general specifications) for SCADA systems (PV plants, Wind plants, substations etc)
  • Specify interfaces for operation purposes and reporting (alarms, events, KPI's etc.)
  • Check and validate the engineering studies related to SCADA
  • Play an active role during all the phases of the project on which he/she will be responsible (technical workshops, physical meetings/conferences calls, internal meetings, coordination of SCADA suppliers and associated subcontractors)
Required Skills and Qualifications

- Master's/Bachelor's degree in engineering (BE/BTech or equivalent)

- 8-10 years of relevant work experience in an industrial engineering and construction environment

- Ideally in the solar/Wind industry, but could also be in the renewable, building construction (industrial, commercial, resort, etc...) or conventional energy industry
