Electrical Technician

Role Overview:

We seek an experienced and skilled Maintenance Electrician to deliver high-quality results in diesel engine troubleshooting, maintenance, and control system programming.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues on gensets and construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks on diesel engines to extend their lifespan and efficiency.
• Program and configure control systems to meet specific operational requirements and enhance overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Determine root causes of electrical malfunctions and implement effective repair strategies to restore functionality.
2. Carry out routine inspections and maintenance procedures on diesel engines to maintain their condition and performance.
3. Configure control systems to optimize their operation and integration with other equipment.

Competencies and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a heavy equipment or industrial setting.
• In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, including their components, systems, and operational principles.
• Familiarity with control systems, including programming languages and configuration software.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
