Job Title: Threat Intelligence Analyst

Key responsibilities include driving security operations center's (SOC) incident response efforts, ensuring timely and effective responses to potential threats.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. They should also be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Triaging events, escalations, and incidents to determine remediation and resolution actions is crucial in this role.

  1. Coordinate appropriate response activities across teams or directly with stakeholders to rapidly remediate potential threats.
  2. Develop use cases to detect and respond to security incidents, using knowledge of organizational risks and threats.

A strong background in security operations or a related field is essential for success in this position. The right candidate will be skilled in threat analysis and mitigation techniques, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in security operations.
  • Developing use cases to detect and respond to security incidents, using knowledge of organizational risks and threats.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate and eradicate threats, utilizing SIEM and analytics tools such as Securonix, Sentinel, or Splunk.
  • Defining thresholds, logic, and conditions to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
