Job Opportunity: Experienced South Indian Cook

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated South Indian cook to join our kitchen team in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu.

• Cook a variety of traditional South Indian dishes including idlis, vadas, pongals, sambars, chutneys, rasams, Vathakulambus, Veg Salnas, Poori Masalas, Biryani, and rice varieties.
• Assist in managing daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
• Organize and prepare food before service starts.
• Ensure proper storage of raw materials and cooked items.
• Follow strict food safety and hygiene regulations.

• A strong willingness to learn is highly desirable.
• At least 5 to 15 years of experience in a South Indian kitchen is preferred.
• A good knowledge of authentic Tamil Nadu South Indian vegetarian cuisine is essential.
• The ability to handle pressure during peak service hours is required.
• A positive attitude, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within the team are necessary.
• A basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices is expected.

Working Hours: Split shift or rotational shift (morning and evening service). Monthly Off: Two days rotational. Location: Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu - 630001.
