Audit Manager Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Audit Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing audit quality, efficiency, and value creation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, with experience working with latest technologies and leading practices specific to analytics, data visualization, AI/ML, and RPA. They will be responsible for:

  • Actively working with the latest technologies and leading practices to drive strategic benefits in the area of audit quality, efficiency, and value creation;
  • Providing support for audit-related data extractions, enablement, analytics, and data visualizations/dashboarding efforts using creative and innovative solutions;
  • Liaising with internal business auditors, auditee teams, DWH IT teams, and external vendors on an ongoing basis for extending support to existing and future automation projects;
  • Coordinating all stages of project development, including system design, development, testing, training, rollout, and post-implementation support.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 3 to 5 years' relevant data analytics experience, EDW concepts, good understanding of data mining, and programming languages such as Python, Oracle SQL. You should also have hands-on experience working with visualization tools like Power BI and SAP BO, and a good understanding of software development life cycle. Prior experience in business requirement gathering, UAT, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.

In addition, having a good academic record and certifications in data analytics/data science from a reputed university would be highly desirable. Background knowledge of the financial sector at large is required, with banking knowledge being preferred. If you have an engineering degree plus MBA, it would be a definite advantage.
