Job Title: Operations Supervisor

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our logistics and supply chain functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of materials within the unit and maintaining proper account of recycled bottle and packing material.

  • Develop purchase plans based on S&OP and minimum inventory norms by coordinating with planning and packing departments.
  • Coordinate with suppliers/transporters for status on orders/deliveries.
  • Supervise receipt and control of daily purchase receipts/production receipts of material.
  • Ensure timely and adequate movement of material within the unit to ensure smooth operations.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor targets of logistics costs and work on optimum logistics models.
  • Ensure maintenance of proper accounts of recycled bottles and packing materials in the unit.
  • Ensure scrap sale at best rates.
  • Ensure security in transit for inbound/outbound goods through necessary insurance.
  • Maximize credit terms and enhance cash flow.
  • Maintain all records as per State/Central Excise Department rules and regulations pertaining to Blending, Bottling, and Plant.
  • Ensure that records pertaining to stock registers, warehouse registers, monthly returns, bonding, and debonding are updated and maintained on a daily basis.
  • Ensure necessary verifications are done on accurate and timely basis e.g., finish goods stock position, spirits entry, Job Worker's Bill, daily physical stock verification as per Excise records.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory documents (CL-3 Statements, Bottling Fee Challans).
  • Oversee loading of Finished Goods Stores.
  • Maintain stock of Raw Material and Finished Goods.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong problem-solving skills. They will also be proficient in using applications such as Newgen/TMS/SAP/Delta/Excel etc.
