As a distinguished AI researcher, you will develop and optimize large language models to address unique domain-specific challenges. Your role includes creating advanced models for specific domains, focusing on fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in NLP: Develop advanced language models tailored to domain-specific applications.
  • Design and implement models: Solve domain-specific problems effectively and efficiently.
  • Analyze and preprocess data: Ensure high-quality input for training models.
  • Evaluate model performance: Use appropriate metrics and benchmarks, and iterate on improvements.
  • Extend model capabilities: Develop methods that improve model reliability and safety.
  • Work with cross-functional teams: Integrate models into production.
  • Publish research findings: Share results with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements: Apply relevant techniques to ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field: Focus on NLP or ML.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field.
  • At least 1 year of experience: Developing and optimizing language models.
  • Solid understanding of fine-tuning techniques: Full fine-tuning, LoRA, QLoRA, and other strategies.
  • ML and RL software engineering skills: Proven research experience in NLP, speech, computer vision, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in programming languages: Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.
  • Familiarity with domain-specific applications: Translate domain knowledge into effective language models.
  • Knowledge of Responsible AI practices: Compliance with relevant laws is a plus.
  • Industry experience with large-scale data processing: Distributed computing or cloud platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative team environment: Contribute to a positive and productive work culture.
